18th,19th & 20th: 2008

We’re tossing our lassoes out across the USA and roping every PT Cruiser and rider we can find. The stampede is on and all PT Cruisers are invited to gallop toward Scottsdale, Arizona for the 2008 PT Roundup in the Desert III. This is the premier event of the PT Cruising year!!

Come circle your wagons with the AZ Cactus Cruisers for our third annual fun-filled weekend of PT camaraderie and gawking at some of the coolest PTs you’ve ever seen.

Join us in the parking lot of Uncle Sams in Scottsdale, AZ on 90th and Shea on January 18,19,20th 2008 and enjoy the most pleasant winter weather you will find.

We hope to see quite a stampede headed our way to help us “kick it up a notch” for the 2008 PT Roundup in the Desert III!!!

Registration is $35.00 from Sept lst thru Oct 1st 2007. Then Oct 2nd 2007 thru Dec 15th is $40.00

Saturday, February 9, 2008  Wine Trail Weekend
Time: 10:00 AM PST

The family wineries of the Madera Wine Trail will host "Wine & Chocolate Weekend" on February 9th & 10th from 10am to 5pm. Wine lovers may purchase a $20 Passport Wine Glass at any of the participating wineries both days of the event. A vast and diverse array of current and new vintages will be available for tasting and purchase along with special food pairings, fabulous chocolate creations, art and music.
 

Johnny Sutton and North Bay Cruisers are doing a couple of cruises and Valley PT Cruisers are invited. One is Jan 17th and the other is April 12th and 13th

Meet at I Hop off of Redwood Drive in Ronart Park at 11.00 am for Brunch. From there we will cruise together to the Planetarium in Santa Rosa for the “Friendly moon lucky us” program. The entry fee is $5.00 regular $3.00 for seniors after the show shopping at historic Rail Road Square is planned in Santa Rosa. 22nd - Fri. night we are meeting at Fat Jack's  625 W. Shaw in Clovis at 5:30 p.m. for dinner. After we are going to the Clovis Senior Center for free dance lessons at 7 p.m. If you want to stay for the dance from 8 to 11 p.m. the cost is $10.00 per person.   Larry and Juanita Baize are hosting this event. PT RIVER RUN: The 2008 PT River Run will be held at the Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino, for room Reservations call 800 227-3849 group code is C/PTRVR. If you need a registration form mailed to you please email ptriverrun@aol.com  . Please start booking your rooms ASAP so the block of rooms can be utilized for this special pricing. Meet at the Rayles shopping center in Windsor Ca. at 9:00 am April 12th from there we will cruise together to Fort Bragg (beautiful drive through the Redwoods) on the way we will stop in Booneville for lunch(and fuel if needed) when we arrive in Fort Bragg we will go to the Botanical gardens. Sea Food dinner at the Harbor is planned but reservations are pending (we must have a head count before Johnny can make the reservations).

April 13th the Skunk train leaves from Fort Bragg at 10:00 am the price is $41.00 per person for the ride plus $13.00 if you want a box lunch on the ride .The Train goes half way to Willows Ca. and back, it returns to Fort Bragg at 1:30 in the afternoon.  19th - Walt and Linda Stephens are hosting a trip to Morro Bay. We will eat at The Great American Fish Co. in Morro Bay. We have 3 choices for lunch: Seafood Salad, Tri Tip Sandwich or Fish and Chips for $16.50. If you want cheesecake dessert it will be $1.50 extra. MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND SAVE SEPT. 12, 13 AND 14 FOR OUR CLUB,  PT CRUISER CLUB OF CENTRAL CALIF.'S 6TH ANNUAL CAR SHOW , THE FABULOUS 50'S AT THE 50'S PLACE IN KINGSBURG. WE WILL HAVE A SHOW AND GLOW IN DOWNTOWN KINGSBURG FRI. NIGHT. WE WILL BE AT THE 50'S PLACE STARTING AT 9AM ON SAT. SEPT. 13TH FOR THE CAR SHOW. WE WILL HAVE A BURRITO LUNCH FOR $10 AT NOON OR YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH.  WE WILL HAVE VENDORS, GAMES  AND RAFFLE PRIZES.  BRING YOUR REMOTE CARS.  WEAR YOUR 50'S CLOTHES.  BRING YOUR SOCKS IF YOU WANT TO DANCE INSIDE. THEY HAVE A RESTORED TEXACO GAS STATION ON THE PROPERTY WHERE THEY WILL TAKE INDIVIDUAL PICTURES OF OUR CARS  AS WE ARRIVE.  WE WILL HAVE A DINNER AT 5 PM OF HAMBURGERS, HOT DOGS, CHILI BEANS, POTATO SALAD, CHIPS, WATER, TEA AND COFFEE.
